Speaking Words Of Faith

Mark 11:23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

Our text is clear about the fact that you can have what you say, and in keeping that thought in mind, where you are right now in life, is a direct result of what you’ve been saying. Whether it be words of faith or fear, it has manifested itself in your life. When it comes to speaking words of faith, we’re in essence speaking to the end of a matter. Just like God changed Abram’s name to Abraham (the father of a multitude) and began calling him that before he had any children, God was speaking into existence or creating with His words what was going to come to fruition before it happened (Romans 4:17 AMPC). Just like our Father, we have the same creative power with our words because we were created in His image, another speaking spirit (Genesis 1:26 AMPC). Every day we have to fill our hearts and mouth with faith by speaking God’s word. When we do this it causes our spirit man to grow and when things in our life start to go contrary to what we’ve been speaking or believing, we remain persistent with our confessions and don’t change what we’re saying (Hebrews 10:23 AMPC). Today, pay special attention to what you say regardless of how “casual” your words might be. They are spiritual containers that have creative power, and you’ll have what you say.
