2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.
Our text tells us that all of Gods promises have an answer to them and it’s always yes. If you found one that you’re standing on, just hang on because it’ll surely come to pass. What trips some people up is that they confuse certain wants and desires that go unfulfilled as being told no and that’s not the case. When this happens we have to look and see if the motive behind the request is the reason it hasn’t manifested (James 4:3 AMP). This is why we have to ask ourselves why do you want it and does it further advance the Kingdom of God?
Our Father wants us to have and enjoy the good life He has prearranged for us to live (Ephesians 2:10 AMP), and if we’re on the path that He’s designed specifically for us, all of the promises found in His word are ours for the taking. All we have to do is ask in faith (Mark 11:23-24) with the proper motives and the answer is always yes and amen to His glory!
