John 16:31 Jesus answered them, Do you now believe? [Do you believe it at last?]
We pick up the story near the end of Jesus’ farewell message to His disciples. He has told them He’s leaving, the events that will follow and although they are filed with sorrow, he won’t leave them comfortless (John 16:6-7 AMPC). He ends it with the question “Do you now believe?” We have to take God’s Word by faith. Let me ask you a question. How do you know you’re saved? You haven’t been to heaven yet so you really don’t know, so you accept it by faith. So why is it when it comes to healing, there is a struggle? What’s stopping you from believing? Lingering symptoms? We’re so accustomed to calling things as they are instead of what the Word says and start calling them what they aren’t (Romans 4:17 AMPC). If we desire to get to this point consistently in our walk, then we have to renew our minds daily with the Word (Ephesians 4:23 AMP). Keep in mind that it takes the same amount of faith to receive healing or anything else from the Word of God as it does salvation and we should be living by the Word and nothing else (Matthew 4:4 AMPC). In closing let me ask; Now do you believe?
