Making God Bigger

Psalm 34: I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2My life makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble and afflicted hear and be glad.3O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

We all have times when life comes at you hard and fast with unexpected situations or circumstances. When it does, this is a prime opportunity to get into the Word and do like our text says magnify the Lord. Webster’s 1828 defines magnify as to make great or greater, and the only way to do that is talking about God. You can either talk about your problems making them bigger or you can talk about your God making Him bigger. You have a choice. It’s easy, and one way to get started is by rehearsing past victories. Talk to yourself by remembering what He has done in the past (Psalms 126 AMPC). If He did it before He will surely do it again. As long as you stay the course, keeping His Word in your heart (Proverbs 4:20-21 AMPC) and coming out of your mouth (Mark 11:23-24 AMPC), your problems gets smaller, God gets bigger and you get the wisdom necessary to navigate through it. God has not forgotten you and He has this whole thing figured out.
