Don’t Sweat It

Philippians 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Transition is a way of life and our text reminds us not to fret or have anxiety about anything but continue to make requests by prayer and petition to God. We go from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP) and as His plan was from the beginning that we be formed into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29 AMP). This process your in (and yes it is a process) is one where like a surgeon goes in and performs surgery, God through your present circumstances is working out of you that which would not be in line with the image of His Son. I will be the first to tell you that it is a very uncomfortable season of life because that’s what change is like, but there is peace available in the process (Philippians 4:7 AMP) when you practice what our text says by making your prayer requests with thanksgiving known to God. When you do it this (His) way, you don’t have to sweat it!
