1 Kings 18:21 Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions?…….
Being stuck in the middle is a very uncomfortable and uncertain place to be. This is where the greatest amount of doubt lives and if you’re in doubt, whatever you’re expecting to receive from God wont manifest but speaking words of faith will remove the doubt (Mark 11:23). Here are a couple of tools you can use whenever you become doubtful. The first thing is to seek God. David is our greatest example when it comes to this. During one the greatest challenges in his life, he sought God for direction (1Samuel 30:7-8). The other is to rehearse past victories. This is where that old saying “If He did it once He’ll do it again” comes into play. You have to encourage yourself (1 Samuel 30:6) and remember what God has already done when in the past things were looking bleak. If you do these two things you can nip doubt in the bud and when a decision has to be made (Deuteronomy 30:19) you can make it trusting in God.
