Mark 11:23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will].
While we wait on manifestations of God’s Word, doubt will attempt to creep in. When faced with doubt there are a few things that we can do to put it in check before it gets out of hand. First and foremost you have to increase your Word input. When you read the Word do it aloud. This allows you to let your spirit man hear the Word coming out of your mouth (Romans 10:8 AMP) so that it will permeate your soul, get down into your spirit and increase your faith. Next we have to watch what we say. Our speech can’t be contrary to that which we believe. Finally don’t give up and quit. Due season is coming (Galatians 6:9 AMP). Doubt is based in fear from the lie the enemy always attempts to get us to fall for; that God won’t do what His Word said He’d do. Rehearsing past victories and testifying to myself is something I do. I tell myself that if He did to before, no doubt He’ll surely do it again.
