Romans 5:5 Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.
Given our current state of life, now more than ever, we need the love of God working in and through us. There are a lot of lessons to be learned, as it relates to how you handle whatever life throws at you, because problems don’t just magically go away. One of the main things I take away from all of this is, no matter what I might face, I must remain cool, calm and collected. This gives the wisdom of God a chance to kick in so I can be responsive and not reactionary. When I am responsive, I can get out in front of any additional problems that can arise as opposed to not doing anything, reacting to it, and now I’m behind the eight-ball playing catch up. God will always guide and show you, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, what to do (John 16:13 AMPC). The wisdom of God is found in His Word. Spending time daily in prayer and meditating on His Word is how we learn His voice, stay focused, and remove any distractions, while dismissing negative thoughts and suggestions 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 AMPC). There’s a price to pay if we act on them, and that is not in His plan for how we are to live (Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC).
You have the love of God poured into your heart, let it shine, and when life happens and people go sideways on you, remember these words from Michelle Obama: “When they go low, we go high.”
