Philippians 3: 12-14 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. (MSG)
Walking with God requires us to look that way. We only look back to see how far we’ve come. Our text says to keep our eye on the goal. So, I ask what is your goal? You can only get there by faith and that means keeping the Word before your eyes, in your ears and coming out of your mouth. You get faith by hearing the Word, and your spirit man needs to hear you speaking the Word (Romans 10:17 AMPC). See yourself with it, talk yourself with it and don’t see yourself without it. Talk faith which means say only what you want. Your words are important and what you continually say is what you’ll get (Mark 11:23-24 AMPC). The Word is seed so plant it in your heart. You sow it with your mouth. Say for instance you’re having symptoms in your body. Be bold and speak against sickness. Begin saying “I have my healing and by His stripes I have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24 AMPC). You have to be consistent and not let up. Words create the image and expect every symptom is gone and stay expectant until it’s gone. I’ve heard it said that with faith and patience you can receive anything from the Lord and patience keeps faith alive (James 1:4 AMPC). Keep renewing your mind (Ephesians 4:23 AMP) and looking forward, you’ll get everything Christ has made available for you (2 Peter 1:3 AMP).
